Welcome to Everyday Home Garden. We publish practical, experience-based content on home decor, gardening, DIY, home maintenance, outdoor living, and sustainable living. If you know one of these topics well and can write clearly about it, we want to hear from you.
What We Are Looking For
We accept guest contributions from writers, gardeners, home improvement enthusiasts, interior designers, and DIY practitioners who have real hands-on experience with the topic they are writing about.
We do not accept content written purely for backlinks, thinly researched articles, or posts that restate obvious information without adding anything useful. If your article does not teach the reader something practical, it will not be published.

- DIY home repairs and improvements
- Lawn care and landscaping
- Home organisation and storage
- Seasonal gardening and planting guides
- Sustainable and eco-friendly living

- Home maintenance and seasonal checklists
If your topic fits this niche but is not listed above, pitch it anyway. We will consider it.
Our Guidelines
Please read these carefully before submitting. Articles that do not follow these guidelines will not be reviewed.
Content requirements:
- Minimum 800 words. Most accepted posts are between 1,000 and 1,800 words.
- Original content only. Not published anywhere else, including your own site or Medium.
- Written in clear, simple English. No jargon without explanation.
- Practical and actionable. Every article must give the reader something they can actually do.
- Accurate information. If you cite statistics or studies, link to the original source.
- At least one original image or high-quality royalty-free image. Include image credit if required.
Formatting requirements:
- Use a clear H1 title and H2/H3 subheadings throughout
- Include an introduction that states what the reader will learn
- Use numbered lists for step-by-step instructions
- Include a short conclusion or summary
- No keyword stuffing. Write naturally.
What we do not accept:
- AI-generated articles submitted without substantial human editing
- Sponsored posts disguised as editorial content
- Articles promoting a specific brand without disclosure
- Content on topics unrelated to home, garden, or lifestyle
- Duplicate or spun content
Author Bio
Every accepted guest post will include a short author bio of up to 80 words with your name, a brief description of your background, and one link to your website or social profile.
What You Get

- Credit on the published article with your name and photo
We do not offer payment for guest contributions at this time.
How to Submit

Include the following in your email:
- Your proposed title and a 3 to 5 sentence summary of the article
- A brief introduction about yourself and your experience with this topic
- Links to 2 to 3 previously published articles (on any platform) so we can assess your writing style
- Whether you are submitting a pitch or a completed draft
Response Time
We review all submissions within 7 to 14 business days. If your pitch or article is a good fit, we will respond with feedback or a publishing date. If we do not respond within 14 days, feel free to send a follow-up.
A Note on Originality
All submitted content is checked for plagiarism and AI generation before review. Submissions that fail these checks will not be considered, regardless of topic quality.
